RUDOLPH BORDOGNA MEMORIAL
BOWLING SCHOLARSHIP
APPLICATION
The Greater Pittsburgh Ten Pin Bowling Association is proud to announce the continued implementation
of the RUDOLPH BORDOGNA MEMORIAL BOWLING SCHOLARSHIP. This scholarship is for
graduating high school seniors who intend to pursue their post high school education in academic, vocational, technical or
business areas which would provide them with marketable skills in their future endeavors.
Two awards of at least $500 each will be made to two candidates, one male and one female.
To be eligible for scholarship consideration, you must meet the guidelines, and complete the requirements, as follows:
1. Have participated in an organized USBC bowling program for a minimum of
two years.
2. Be a high school senior from an accredited secondary school with a minimum
of 2.5 GPA for grades 10, 11 and 12.
3. Write a brief autobiography of your bowling career and accomplishments,
as well as personal qualifications.
4. Provide personal references, as noted on the application.
Your candidacy will be evaluated on the degree to which you meet the above criteria, along with the other information
that you have submitted on the completed application. Bowling achievement, academics
and other school and/or community activity will be evaluated. This is a bowling
scholarship, and as such, the most heavily weighted factors are bowling achievements and accomplishments.
The deadline for all entries is May
31, (current year). Any entry postmarked after this date will not be accepted. Scholarship winners will be notified in late June.

The finalists in each division (Boys
and Girls) will be notified on or about June 15th.
The award checks will be paid our directly
to the school on behalf of the winner. Under no circumstances will the award
checks be given directly to the winner.
The Board of Directors of the Greater
Pittsburgh Ten Pin Bowling Association (GPTPBA) requires a minimum of four applications be submitted in either division (Boys
or Girls) for the scholarship to be awarded in that respective group.

by sending a SASE to the scholarship chairman, or through any director of the Greater Pittsburgh Ten Pin Bowling Association.
